A step back in time to Buckler's Hard, almost at the head of the river has not changed for probably 100 years, an excellent eatery in the Master Builder, but do allow extra time to get there as it’s 40 minutes from the entrance of the Beaulieu River at a slow pace, but excellent to watch the world go buy.

The historic market town is just a short walk from the river and full of interesting shops, designer boutiques, pubs, cafés, restaurants and accommodation.
